Petra Begemann, PhD, DABT

Dr. Petra Begemann is a chemist and board-certified toxicologist, with more than 10 years of experience in toxicology, and particular expertise in biochemical toxicology and analytical chemistry. Her work at ENVIRON has included risk assessments and litigation support for product liability, patent infringement and toxic tort cases related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumer products and industrial and environmental chemicals. Petra has been a postdoctoral research trainee in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She is a coauthor of several peer-reviewed publications in toxicology, and is a member of the Society of Toxicology, the German Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology, and the German Chemical Society.
